Breathwork for anxiety and panic

Are you or a loved one feeling overwhelmed by anxiety?

Breathwork is a scientifically proven, natural and effective way to reclaim your peace of mind and enhance your overall wellbeing.

Numerous studies have shown that breathwork under the guidance of a trained instructor, which focuses physiological mechanisms and incorporates carbon dioxide chemoreceptor sensitivity, can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and create longer-term somatic changes.

Breathing plays a crucial role in the regulation of the autonomic nervous system, which consists of two main branches:

The Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) is responsible for the "fight, flight or freeze" response. It prepares the body for stressful situations by increasing heart rate, dilating airways, and redirecting blood flow to muscles.

The Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS), often referred to as the "rest and digest" system, promotes a state of calm and recovery. It slows the heart rate, stimulates digestion, and facilitates a state of relaxation. The vagus nerve is a key component of the PNS and plays a critical role in mediating the effects of controlled breathing.

Studies have shown that breathing pattern disorders affect 9.5% of the adult population, rising up to 75% in people with anxiety*.

Knowing your own personal breath patterns and learning how to retrain your brain and nervous system can dramatically improve symptoms of anxiety.
